Kirsten created this piece for her first Museum Store Association conference in San Diego in 2019, and her work is already a favorite in many museum stores. Full of elaborate detail, this drawing is a testament to the beauty found within the San Diego Museum of Art's walls as well as on its facade.

As the drawing shows, lead museum architect William Templeton Johnson sought inspiration from 16th century Spanish Renaissance structures in the plateresque style when the building’s construction got underway in April 1924.
